WILLS Work Badge

This is an original work badge worn by employees of Wills. It is approximately 1-5/8 inches in diameter, with the words "CH Wills & Co" across the top, the employee number in the middle (in this case #5362) and the Wills logo in a circle at the bottom (wings down goose above water and tree line).

The badge was found by a diver in the St. Clair River in Port Huron, Michigan (the community directly north of Marysville) in a pile of rubbish on the river bottom. Apparently, after the factory closed back in the late 1920s, this river location was used as a spot for dumping rubbish.
